Dublin

  1. Dublin is really an agreeable city, because though it is big, there is always some space to breathe and gardens and beautiful buildings full of the history of Ireland.

  2. Dublin is a pleasant city. Although it is big, there is always some space to breathe, lots of gardens and beautiful buildings which are full of the history of Ireland.

You could also use the verb "steep" - a city steeped in history. A useful idiom concerning history.
