Study (universities/schools)

Many students choose to attend schools or universities outside their home countries. Why do some students study abroad?

  1. Some students study abroad because they want to discover another culture, country. They often want to learn another language too. A part of them make charity, for help another country. We had study a text " Go gap ", it deals about this subject, we had seen how a girl, Alice Clarfelt decided to go on the eastern Cape, in South Africa for get involved in HIV/ AIDS.
But some students just go on holidays.

  2. Some student study abroad because they want leave thier families to discover the world or to make some things like go in another country to perfect his/her accent for example. How said Alison there are many reasons for leave: we saw Alice Clarfelt who went in South Africa !
But I'm not agree with Alison who said that sometimes students just go on holidays because they are young and they have time to go on holidays !!

  4. Many students leave abroad for their studies because it is a very enriching experience: we learn a new language and we discover a new culture. Furthermore, it is better for our CV!!!

I was in Germany during three months and I learnt a lot.
But the studies abroad are often very expensive

  5. I agree with Alison.

I think attend school oustide our counrty is an exceptional experience. I would like discover another country, another culture during my studies. I think that sometimes, we need to change our environment, meet other peoples, ...

Sometimes, foreign schools are more adapted and qualificated than French schools (and vice versa).

  6. I agree with you, by the way it's what I want to do after the high school.

But I think that we can have these kind of experiences without leaving our contry : for an exemple my cousine grew up in San Francisco and she went in New York to study. She told me that it was like going in an other country. And it's a thing that many students do in USA, leaving their family, change their whole life without leaving the USA. In France we can probably doing the same thing : I suppose that we don't live in the same way in Nice than in Lille or a little village in the middle of nowhere.
