I think that new student can be nervous... But teachers should ask to delegate if they can help them. At the beginning of the school year, my teacher ask me if I can help German students. And it was very beneficial for them.

should ask headboy/headgirl(class representative) to help them... My teacher asks/asked....If I could help ... To be a new student..... meet other people/students/teachers to join a group where friends have known each other..... students must introduce their friends...create different groups...
