To begin with, my trip to Sweden was really nice. My host family was kind and I was happy to be with them. All the visits were interesting and it was good to do it with the students, like the old town or the museums. Moreover, the weather was sunny so it wasn't so cold as I thought ! The food was also good but some candies were just disgusting. Something I didn't expect was about school. The timetable is better than in France and their clzsses are really different : they can use their phones, their computers, they can go out when they want, they speak to the teachers as if they were friends and they work only if they want !
Finally, I enjoyed the surprise prepared by the teachers : I like bowling even if I'm not really good.
Did I enjoy the trip? Good question, but the answer looks obvious. Of course, I enjoyed the trip, everything we did, everything we had, everything we saw. All the Swedish people and our host families were amazing! Swedish people mostly all have big houses and big gardens and it changes from the city center with narrows streets and apartments. The landscapes were also very green and there were many beautiful forest. The moments we had in the school were also very funny : the cooking time was quite interesting and we knew more about swedish specialities. It was weird to see and eat with little childrens around, but it was because they were in lower grades. In fact, it was not a high school, but something else surprised me: they had breaks between classes during like 20-25 minutes and it's very different from France! They also all had computers given from the school and they had the right to bring them at home. Moreover, the old city, called Gamla Stan, was very singular but it looked like a bit to Nice with narrow streets, colored houses and small boutiques. The castle, the zoo Skansen, the Vasa Museum and the Nobel Prize Museum were also very interesting. The city center and its many floral pink trees were to beautiful to see. We didn't except the weather would be that sunny! It was sometimes windy but it was quite warm. We also appeciated the finale surprise: bowling! We had really good times and I think this first time in Sweden for most of us was incredible und unforgettable. Last but not least: Thank you to our teachers for everything they planned and did for us and all the time they gave us. This trip was a success.
Two weeks ago i went to Sweden for the first time with my class and i spend there four days. So did I enjoy my trip in this unknown country ?
I did enjoy my trip in Sweden. First I discover the Scandinavian culture, I had never met any of them before so because I lived with them I had been able to learn some more about these people fro the North. It was a very nice country but the weather was not always very good and the building rather ugly but Stockolhm was a beautiful city. The visits that we have done there were pretty boring : the museums and the zoo. But thanks to the museum i learn from Nobel and Vasa ship and the zoo was quite fun. I thinks that the best thing of the trip was our meeting with the Swedish population they were very kind with us. Our pen-pals were very fun and very interesting.
To conclude I like my trip in Sweden and I like the Swedish people, I hope I would them again… And I would like to thanks Miss Ricketts for the trip and my pen-pal Elias and his family for hosting me.
Did I enjoy my trip ? Of course I did ! The trip was a success like aurore said. I want to thank Channis ( I call her by her name now ) for the trip and also the swedish people who hosted us ( thank you Ivar ). The weather was perfect because much colder than here ! I enjoyed my trip and I enjoyed my life when I was in Sweden : Quite good landscape, very green one ; Stockholm was very beautiful and the Swedish girls were amazing ( If you read me I love you ). During this trip I met my future wife, I learnt how to cook, I improved my english who is already quite perfect, I learnt that Channis is the aunt of Ian Mahinmi !!! My best teacher and friend Channis is the aunt of the Center Ian Mahinmi of the Indiana Pacers ! Channis I wanted to say to you that the trip was almost perfect except of the cinnamon bun you bought to us in Gamla Stan who was disgusting. Gamla Stan was a very beautiful old town, very typical from Swedish. The shoppings mall and the cherry trees were also very beautiful ( Tove Linn Mikaela and Lily were prettier ). Myrsjöskolan was a very good school, far different from French school ! The pupils had no books just a mac to work ! They had 20 minutes break between each class. They call their teachers by their name ( like me actually ). They arrive late but they have no problem unlike me if I'm late Channis punishes me because : "Le règlement c'est le règlement" ( rules are rules ). So I fell in love with Sweden and Stockholm ! Thank you for this amazing trip !
