Since there was a subject about video games recently, I decided we would to try to determine who the best video game music composer is !
The two competitors are: - Phyrnna, formerly HalcyonicFalconX, the very underrated composer for the best fash RPG around, EpicBattleFantasy (I recommand her piano works) - Nobuo Uematsu, widely considered to be the god of video game music, mainly because of his work on the FinalFantasy games (I particularly enjoy his vocal pieces).
(Fun fact : Uematsu is Phyrnna's favourite composer !)
Personally, I prefer Phyrnna. Her music for EpicBattleFantasy game are beautiful. What I like most about her music is when they are played on the piano, it's really nice to listen. I don't like the style of music of Nobuo Uematsu, I prefer those of Phyrnna. So, I think the best video game music composer is Phytnna.
As far as I am concern I prefer the video music of legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu. His musics are lovely. Dragonsong is classic Uematsu. It begins with a mournful piano intro wich I really like. Then there is a crescendo and it is very enjoyable it sounds more natural and that's why I prefer Uematsu.

ReplyDeleteerratum : it should be "I enjoy these" in the OP. I should be able to edit it, but for some some reason, I'm not. I'll try again later.
