Afterwards I’m going with my grandparents to spend the December 24 in Auron in the mountains. I’m going to enjoy my holiday to the fullest as I think I need a lot. Christmas Eve is tonight, and everything is ready: the Christmas tree is in the living room wearing Christmas wreath with tinkle lights, there is the nativity scene at the foot of the Christmas tree, everyone is wearing a red and white hat and everybody is happy! I am going to tell you what I am going to do and what I think about this traditional event. First, I always celebrate Christmas with my family in Gap: my brothers, my grand-parents, my parents, uncle, aunt and cousins are here. We are going to meet us at my grand-mother’s house around a big dinner like every year. I really like this period of the year because everyone is happy, and we are all going to spend a pleasant moment and appreciate to see each other. I am looking forward to see my little cousins who are three and five years old adorable little girls and it is been a long time that I didn’t see them. Besides this is cool because there is a big dinner and the part that I prefer is the dessert: there are going to be thirteen desserts within chocolates, cakes, Yule log, macarons, Calissons from Aix, a lot of fruits… furthermore I am looking forward to open my gifts but I don’t know if I can open it tonight or tomorrow morning like a child. Hello, I saw the post after Christmas but we are still in a holiday time !
First of all, I looove the Christmas time so much! We can feel a lot of love everywhere. Now we are in the last days of the year and we are going to spend time with our families and we need to enjoy it because some people haven´t got a family. In other words Christmas is not only the presents under the tree it´s also an excuse to spend time together, with our family or friends, with people we love.
Second, as I said before Xmas is a family time that´s why my parents decided to went to my mother´s family in the north of Belgium. I spent Christmas eve with my mother´s parents, my parents and my brother. Then the day of Xmas all my family came to my grand-parent’s house. Together with my 8 cousins we really enjoy this time together. For the New Year´s eve I´m going back to France to spent this time with my friend.
Finally, as far as I´m concerned this family time is the most important thing that we have and we need to enjoy it. Let me wish you the best for the new year and I hope you will spend good times !
it is true that opinions differ about Christmas. On the one hand, people, and mostly children, love Christmas, they receive gifts, there is no school and they can stay up late. In addition, Christmas has a magical side, which comes from an imaginary world, with Santa Claus, elves, flying reindeer all coming from a wonderful and magical world. But on the other hand, this celebration can be seen as a source of stress, where they have to buy gifts and can also be an obligation to see people you don't necessarily like. For my part, I love Christmas, it's an opportunity to share moments with my family, everyone is in a good mood, generous and ready to make an effort. That's why I love Christmas.
I love Christmas, I don't think there's a more festive celebration than this one. The Christmas atmosphere is something magical, familial... This year I will celebrate Christmas only with my parents and brothers and sisters, we will stay at home to eat lunch and at the aperitif, each one will offer his gifts to others. The next day, I'll go to Hyeres for a Christmas holiday on Porquerolles Island and we can ride our bikes!
To begin, I want to say that I really like Christmas because it's moment of sharing. We can be with our family, our friends. We spend time together and exchange gifts. I think that Christmas is a way to say “I love you” in giving presents. We can also make a good meal together, decorate the tree.
On Christmas Eve, even if we don’t go to the church, I spend good times with my family and my boyfriend. We ate toast, shrimp, whelk as an aperitif. Then we ate a guinea fowl with potatoes and as desert we ate a rolled with nutella and some Christmas cakes. We lit the candle, we danced and sang together until midnight, and laughed.
In the morning we opened the presents and we played with my brother with her new play at twister. At noon, my grand-father came and we ate again a big meal and then I played the guitar with my family.
Finally, I spend a really good Christmas time and I hope that everyone spend a good Christmas time too!!
As I write this, it’s been four days since Christmas. This day is one of my favourites as well as my birthday.
I love Christmas because I get presents and I have a good time with my family. I enjoyed it a lot this year because I spent it with my parents. I’m a bit sad because I wasn’t with my entire family but I used Skype to call them, so it was like we were together. This year I helped my parents to cook dinner and it was nice to do something with them. When I was a child I used to decorate the Christmas tree but this year we unfortunately didn’t have one so we gave each other gifts from hand-to-hand but it was actually fun. My plans were not really “Christmas plans”. I watched TV series and YouTube videos. I also baked biscuits while listening to some music. Yet it was really enjoyable because I like to bake in my spare time.
To sum up, this Christmas was lovely, and I hope yours were also great. Have a nice holiday and happy New Year everyone!
Hello everyone ! I'm a bit late on this subject, Christmas was 5 days ago... But I can talk about my opinion and what I did for Christmas. I really like Christmas, not for the food or the presents, I like it because I can see my family that lives far away from me. Christmas has the reputation to be a really commercial day, it's a bit true, but not everyone thinks of it this way. To my mind, Christmas is a familial day. Therefore, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day have to be spent with family or very good friends. And so did I. I went on the first Saturday of the holidays to my aunt's house in Lyon, to see my cousins and my relatives. It was really fun ! We played games and ate a wonderful diner that my uncle prepared on Christmas Eve. Then Santa went to put the presents under the christmas tree and on Christmas day's morning my younger cousins ran to open their presents. It was magical to see their eyes sparkle when they were ripping the paper off their presents. So, this was my Christmas plans and my opinion about Christmas ! Have happy holidays !
Hello! First of all, I wish you all happy holidays! In my opinion, Christmas is one of the best holidays because it happens during my favorite season, winter, and because I love the "Christmas atmosphere". I love making the Christmas tree with my mother while listening to some Christmas music, and I also love chilling on the sofa watching movies (especially Christmas movies) and sharing time with my brothers in front of the fireplace. I would also like to add that, for me, Christmas is the perfect time to be with your family and of course share presents! This year, my elder brother and his fiancée went home with us for Christmas, as well as my other brother and grand-mother! We usually celebrate Christmas and open the presents on the 24th of December at night. I'm a bit late on this subject but I still would like to write about it as I love Christmas. In my family, we open up our presents on 25th December and not on 24th as a lot of you do. On new year's eve we usually watch a Christmas movie and go to the Christmas market in Monaco or Nice. This year, I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my parents and my sister. Sometimes, we go to Ireland where most of my family live and spend it with them. This year we just stayed at home in France. On Christmas Day, we open up our gifts usually quite early in the morning. My sister and I wake our parents up to open the presents. Then, we have our Christmas dinner that my dad and I prepare. I really enjoy making it and eating it.
I really like Christmas because I love spending quality time with my family. To me, Christmas is all about family, sharing and generosity. I hope you all had a really good Christmas.

Hi everyone, To my mind, I have always loved "Fairy Christmas" , But this year is really qualitatively different from anything else. Because when I was child I look forwad to day of Christmas but now it's nearly a normal day. However christmas allows to share happy moments with a lot of love with our family ! Moreover, The 24th evening I was with family of my father's side and at noon the next day I was with family of my mother's side. Finally, this christmas was pleasant, I had a lot of good times and discussions during the dinner of Chrsitmas . :)

Furthermore I find that Christmas is a wonderful time of year, it gives us the opportunity of seeing family members that we don't often see, and I have to admit that I love opening presents on Christmas day there's a special feeling about it. I personally really enjoyed this christmas. Indeed, I had a great time with my family, they came from different places in France to spend this lovely time of the year together.
