Protection for the animal or just ecological protection are « taboo », too complicated and can be confusing. These are sensitive topics for everyone since everyone has different opinions.
There are a few hot button subjects that people are discussing today like the climate change, with the increasing concern about the environment, discussions around climate change and its impact on our planet have become quite heated.Social Justice, with issues related to equality, diversity, and inclusion are at the forefront of many conversations, addressing topics such as racial justice and gender equality. But also the the rapid advancements in technology, such as artificial intelligence, privacy concerns, and social media's influence, have sparked debates and discussions about their impact on society. And do not forget the importance of mental health and destigmatizing mental illnesses has gained significant attention, leading to conversations about access to mental health resources and breaking down barriers.
I have a hot button subject I want to talk about. Today, I heard on the radio that the policeman that shot Nael has been released of detention, after 4 moths. I have shared opinions on this subject because I believe that when you are qualified in any job that involves weapons, you should not be allowed to make mistakes. You can’t mistakenly kill somebody. But the policeman maybe had his reasons. After, we don’t really know what happened in that car, accept for what people tell us. There are multiple senarios : the policeman’s life could have been in danger so he decided to strike first for his own safety.

The different hot button subjects today vary, but some include climate change, which involves differing opinions on consumption patterns, lifestyles, and other subjects like inflation affecting the cost of living (gas, food, etc.).
It seems to me that there are a lot of different hot button subjects today. Like gender inequality, war or even religious. But I would like to talk about ecology. Ecology is very important to us. I recently learned that one of the reasons why there have been no new discoveries in the field of antibiotics is related to ecology. The destruction of various ecosystems through human intervention destroys potential samples for research to create antibiotics. Therefore, I believe that protecting ecology is very important. BUT this does not mean that we should run headlong to break other people's cars that emit CO2 (carbon dioxide). I believe that everything must be approached wisely.
Most of the time, hot button subjects involve talking about religion or conflict between contries or ethnies.We have the exemple of the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
