I think it's important not to lie to others and certainly not to oneself. Sometimes, however, It's important to say things in a "soft" way so as not to hurt people's feelings and so that they can accept to hear things which are not so pleasant.
Today I also want to talk about the fact that lately I'm often late. For instance I arrived late twice for my english lessons between 8 and 9 . The problem is that I have great difficulty getting up early and beeing ready in time. Unfortunately that means that once I missed an english class and I had to catch up later. Are some of you having the same problem ? Can anyone give me some advice please ? Thank you in advance for your help :) anastasia
Hello It 's really that it is a very important policy beacause nowaday most people are dishonest . Everyone look after only on themselves . Indeed solidarity , friendship which have been more important are going to disappear but I agree with the other . Some times you must be dishonest to protect some one so I think that honesty is not the best policy .
Perhaps you can't getting up early because you go to sleep too later.

Here are some ways to express yourself better : "I learnt all my lessons" "Last night I learnt my vocabulary" "Today I saw that many students"..... sheet of paper that they put"..... "They did the same thing in the unexepcted German test".... "only one or two students in my class"....."plenty students" without real work "what's the point in being dishonest?' "Dishonest people will be punished sooner or later...." I totally agree with you.
Hello, To my mind ,I've never been late to school. I'm only late when i have to go to doctors ( doctors have ever made me fear :$ ). I wanted to post my comment here , because last week, something happened and that annoyed me . Last week we had to do many exercices and to learn a lot ( We had to write a lot of exams ) So I learnt all my lessons , for example , Last night I learnt my vocabulary .Today I saw that many students only wrote the text answers on sheet of paper that they put in their pencil-cases to cheat during the Latin test. They did the same thing in the unexepcted German test ... only one or two students in my class had revised . and plenty students cheated , but not me therefore I got a very bad mark. It gets on my nerves , because some students are getting good marks without real work Sometimes the others students come to me and says me :<< you ought to be less honest !>>. - what's the point in being dishonest? I think that Dishonest people will be punished sooner or later.... for their dishonesty, because that's not right; it sometimes annoys me. guillaume
Hello, I've never been late to school too (but once I forgot my bag...) because I hate to be late, that's why I always go to school very early, and take a bus sooner (because i konow i can take another later, if I miss the first one), On top of that, If I come earlier at school, i can revise my lessons, like vocabulary, or to read books I've to read for school...) I think beeing on time I really important, beacause it prouves that we are motivated (especially at school !!!) Guillaume, I think you're right, because cheating is not the best thing people can do, but one day, they'll pay that... on top of that, latin is not really important in life! When people are honest at school, or every time in their life, they know how their life seems, and don't lie to thmselves! Because liing to others is liing to ourself too! Honesty is like kindness, if we are king too much, we allways have problems, but people who aren't so kind seem to have less problems! For myself, anybody is never too kind... people who aren't so pay it one day...
Hi !!! I am a very good Anastasia's friend. I know her for several years and she was always late ...It is sometimes irritating but it is her nature and now I accepted it : she is who she is. Everybody has his own defaults... But in my opinion ,to be late can pose a problem in her professional life later. Personally,I am rarely late: I hate being late and when I am late, it puts me under stress.
