Youngsters have many visions of their own futures.Some would like to become a lawyer,a nurse,an aviator or to become a celebrity. Yet,a lot of youngsters don't decide their own futures because others decide for them therefore they give up their dream. Do you think that today we have the freedom to decide our own futures? On the one hand youngsters in our society can decide their own futures freely,but on the other hand we can see that many civilisations don't allow some people to consider their futures as they wish.
Today, we have the freedom to decide our own futures because everybody has the same rights and the same opportunities.Today we have the possibility to study free of charge, to have the same shool career as rich students and therefore to have the freedom to choose what future we wish. Moreover thanks to affirmative actions today black students can attend the shool that they want and to think freely of their own futures without constraints. However,many people haven't the freedom to decide their own futures. Many parents decide what their children will do later. In the upper class some children must work in their parents company when they become adults or many parents are biaised against some jobs and refuse that their children do them. Thus,sometimes people give up to become a musician or footballer. Moreover some civilisations don't allow women to work. Women must stay at home and must bring up their children,they don't see their futures that way but they are obliged to live as they do,whereas men can work and only them bring money at home. furtermore,sometimes money can be a constraint to consider a future because to attend a college or university , students must pay.
Finally we can say that today everyone can have the freedom to decide their own futures because we have the same rights but we can see people who are determined and do everything to manage and consider their futures and on the other hand people who give up when they meet the fisrt obstacle. Nevertheless in some civilisations many people dream of deciding their own futures but they can't do it or many children are obliged to do what their parents want them to do later and they will be unhappy the rest of their life.
Today, we have more liberty than our parents or grand-parents. People are more open-minded, because of the American Dream and the globalization. So now, every people says that you can do what you want and follow the way you want too. But is it true?
First, it depend on the place you live in. Not all the country, not all the different religions allowed everybody to do the same thing. I agree with H.M about womens who can't work and have to stay at home in order to take care of children. Furthemore, there are a lot of parents who want their chidren do the same work as them. Or they want an assistant. That's why they push their children to do some specific study or to stop school. Secondly, it depends on your specific character. If the competition is not for you, if you're too stressed by exam, so you can't access to high study like hec or Science-Po or LENA. Of course you can try, do the best you can and, perhaps if you're lucky, succeed your study. But at the end, you might be destroyed and lose yourself.
To my mind, I thing that we can do what we want. We are free to build ourself, to walk on the way we want to. But we musn't forgive that it is better to have a realistic goal than a dream. And always have a plan B.
I agree with the two others people, we have the freedom to decide our future but if we want to, we have to do the perfect choices and it is not very easy. Of course, if we talk about professional life, there are different ways to be free but what will be the consequences ?

Our future depend on family, social class and values. But it depends on our willing to do what we want to do.
First, today, we have more possibilities than our parents for we go to same schools, we have same education and same rights. Everybody has chances to go to universities or somewhere we can study.
Then, family is always an important factor when we decide something considerable for our lives. Tat's why, we often count on our parents to help us and guide us for many decisions. Besides, what we learned and what our parents taught us have an influence over what we will be and will do. However, our social class conditions our future because of stereotypes, prejudices and money that we need to study and begin in world of work. Someone from middle class would have less possibilities to study than another one from high class. Next, another factor we always consider, without knowing, is perhaps our values. It means everything family and also friends pass down/on to us. It can be honesty, respect, knowledge and so on.
Finally, although many factors are at stake about our future, the most important thing is our willing. Even if are poor or we had bad marks, for example, we will able, with determination, to do whatever we want even though living conditions could be harsh. In my opinion, we have more possibilities to do what we wants because of the open mindedness of people. Still, show our willing in the only way to decide our own futures if we bother to get what we want.

That's why ..........guide us. .....when we start working..... middle classes may find it harder to attend universities than upper classes. Sometimes we are unaware that we make choices based on values......that is to say.....we are poor...we have.....will be able ..... willingness if we are determined to get what we want".
Everybody, in his childhood, hopes the best future for himself. We all have dreams. But can we really decide with freedom our own futures?
Nowadays, society and especially boss always wants high diploms and long studies. Therefore, people who like studying can decide there future because then, they could have the job they want. Indeed, even jobs which didn't need diploms some years before, need today a diplom, like cashier. However, people who don't like school or have difficulties don't always have the job they wanted only because they didn't manage to have the diplom required. Moreover, many people have string-pulling so honest people who work hard have less chance to have this job.
Unfortunately, excpect if we are brilliant, we can't always get the job we want because society always wants to go higher.
Yes, I do believe that today we have the freedom to decide our own future. I believe this because now people are getting jobs depending on how prepared they are for the tasks, not by anything else.
