  1. Hello
This video makes me very want to go to Malta, because the landscape is really beautiful, there is beautiful place as I could see it, for example the blue lagoon that goes to be a very beautiful place especially the water that is beautifully blue, the grand master's palace must be great to discover, marsaxlokk and mdina that must also be interesting. This video reminds me of good memories when I travel to different countries in summer and when i saw my friends.

  4. Hello,
First, this video makes me feel nostalgic because, even if I was not part of the trip, I went in Malta in 2016. Indeed, this allows me to remind me a lot of good memories, especially with those images of Blue Lagoon, Valetta, or the city of Marsaxlokk.
In addition, the video makes me realize that I really want to go again to Malta, to visit some places that I didn't, like the Grand Master's Palace.
    Thank you,

  5. Hi everyone,
I spent quite a long time making this video but I am happy of the result. To my mind, it is a good way to keep memories and not to forget it.
Some people would say that we don't need a video to remember the good times of a trip. On one hand, I agree but on the other hand, I do think that a video allows you to relive some parts of a trip as you are reminded of what you experienced in the place you went to. As a result, a quick movie seems to be a better way to keep beautiful souvenirs in mind.

    Thank you very much !
Hope that you enjoy this short video,
    Marie xx

  6. Hi, in my last post I made some mistake: It's «How lucky you were to go to Malta» and not «How lucky you are to was in Malta», «the landscapes are truly awesome» and not «… trully awesome», «I've never been to Malta» and no «I didn't was in Malta» or «even if I didn't was there»; then it's «Congratulation to the camera woman» and no «Congratulations at the cameraman»

  8. Hey everyone!
I watched the video and I wanted to congratulate the movie maker !
As I watched the video, I told myself that I would really enjoy going to Malta especially with my class because to my mind, classes trips increase the solidarity and the cohesion of the class !
Malta really seem to be a paradise on earth ! I am keen on traveling and Malta looks like a perfect destination for my future holidays! I have already been to Greece and the landscapes of Malta are very similar to what I saw there. The sea, the sun, cliffs and plenty of lovely tiny villages, full of exotic smells coming from little markets or local specialities !
I have always had the chance to travel a lot because my parents could afford it and that is why I can’t imagine my life without traveling anymore. It opens minds and make people increase their self growth.
I also have the chance to be in an Abibac class so I have always been used to discover new cultures and habits and to learn to live with it.
I truly encourage people to travel if they ever have the opportunity because it brings more and more experiences and develops states of mind.
Trips are life and live for trips !

The landscapes are really beautiful with its blue waters and these really gigantic cave. The view is just beautiful ! Of course I'd like to go there as soon as i can ! Especially that i love traveling and discovering new cultures.

  10. In my last post I made some mistakes:"there are beautiful place" and not "there is beautiful place","really" not "very","can't see" not " i could see","which is nice place" not "goes to be a very beautiful place", "very blue" not " beautifully blue" and finally the names are capitalized "Blue lagoon","Grand Master's Palace","Marsaxlokk"and "Mdina".

  11. hello everyone, the video looks great, I wish I could have gone too. Malta looks like an incredible place, the sea seems very peaceful and beautiful, the blue lagoon looks fantastic and the city itself is very inviting. it looks like a very sunny and warm destination, whih makes me want to visit it even more! The trip itself must have been amazing too: visiting places, learning things, all whilst having fun. I myself have travelled a lot, and I have seen beautiful things, but the video and the place really make me want to plan a trip there right away. Congratulations to the video maker, it looks really fun. Thank you for sharing it with us!

  12. Hello everyone,

I'd like to say that this country looks really great. There are so nice and beautiful landscapes which make me want to go in Malta. The sea looks beautiful and also the city.
The science festival seems to be funny and very interesting and I think I would really like to go there maybe next year.
It doesn't really reminds me good memories, because I never went on a trip with my class, but this year we're going to go to Germany with my class so it'll be my first and I hope this will make me good memories.

I hope you really enjoyed your trip,

  13. Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to go to Malta in September with you...
It seems that you spent a great time in this city and this video makes me want to go there! At first sight in Malte, landscapes seem to be sumptuous, climate appears pleasurable and water is very clear in places like the Blue lagoon!
Moreover, the activities you performed seemed great! I saw that you have been to the Science Festival, which is well known around the world, and I believe that sharing this experience with your science teachers must have been rewarding.
Finally, I want to thank Marie for this beautiful video montage! I believe that it is a great way to remind yourself of a trip because from my point of view, videos provide more feelings to people rather than a simple picture, maybe because of sounds and instant emotions.

    Thank you for your work!
I hope everyone enjoyed this trip.

  14. Hello !

    - To begin with, I congratulate Marie for this video which is very cool with all his effects. In fact we went to Malta in September and this video reminds me good memories !
    - Indeed, we spent five fabulous days together, landscapes were fantastic, we swam into transparent water and we visited typical villages. Moreover I really appreciated my host family, we spoke about cultures, school, nature in a warm environment so that we exchanges our knowledge. Unfortunately we haven't visited Gozo island but we visited blue cave like you saw in the video.
    - To conclude, I recommend to everyone to go in Malta and spend good times with your friends or family!

As I love to travel, going to Malta would probably be a pretty cool experience, I would love to visit the Grand Master’s Palace and explore The Blue Lagoon.
Also, this video reminds me of great memories. The colour of The Blue Lagoon makes me think about the time I went to Tahiti, the sea had about the same colour as the one in Malta.
Your trip seemed really exciting and I had a lot of fun watching the video!

  25. Hello !
Here is my article about Malta : "Spaces and exchanges/Shopping in Malta"

    - During our trip we had the opportunity to do some shopping, visit the surroundings and learn more about trade in Malta...

    - First of all, there were shops or markets for everyone, from international brands to those selling Maltese items to take home as souvenirs or local food products. In fact many retail outlets and shopping centres can be found in all the major towns and villages, but the foremost are at Valletta in Republic Street and Merchants Street, in Sliema mostly along Tower Road, Bisazza Street, and also next to St.Julian's port.
    - Markets are the best place to enjoy the real Maltese essence. Besides great shopping, you get a cultural flavour of Malta in these places where locals meet to socialize and buy daily products. Almost every town and village has its market, you can’t miss it. Furthermore, I noticed that when I did shopping with my friends, sellers were very welcoming with us and tourist as well. It was pleasant to exchange stuff with them.
    - Later, we went to Marsaxlokk fish market, it was very beautiful with its strange and exotic fish and we spend about two hours walking down the street, admiring the landscape. In this little village we overviewed a port which is allowing the export of goods between Malta and others country. When we visited the Playmobil factory, we learn that in fact they exported these toys to different countries after manufacturing them ( like France, Italy or Spain) indeed it develops world trade.
    - Previously, Malta was a British colony, so exchanges were in sterling but now thanks to the European Union the exchanges are in euros, nevertheless during my shopping I noticed that many stores display two prices, one in euros and the others in sterling.

    - To conclude, thanks to this trip we found the notion of spaces and exchanges, through the Maltese trade. Finally, I would like to thank our teachers for organizing this beautiful journey.

First of all, the video is nice to watch, with a good editing!
You were very lucky to go to Malta! Besides the trip looks very funny and interesting. I hope you could learn few words in Maltese. The landscapes are such amazing, with a blue lagoon and there was a beautiful weather. Moreover, the History and natural parts of the city look interesting. And you made amusing activities like the science festival or the visit of caves. Indeed, it's nice because you visited different parts of Malta.

  27. Hi everyone,
I would like to share with all of you the notion of "myths and heroes" in Malta :
First of all, Calypso Cave in Gozo
In a medium-sized open cave hidden inside the high cliffs lies what is known as the Cave of Calypso. According to Homer’s Odyssey, Calypso was a water nymph who could not leave her abode, that is to say the island of Ogygia. After losing his ship and his friends, the King of Ithaca, Ulysses, was thrown on the island and found by Calypso, who fell in love with him. Ulysses remained in Calypso’s cave for seven years, before being allowed to sail back home to his wife.
However, Calypso was still in love with him, and legend says that she’s still waiting for him on her island. The way Homer describes the location of Ogygia within the Mediterranean Sea made people understand that Gozo was Ogygia, and that the cave was the one in Ramla Bay.

    To continue il-Gawgaw
During the 18th and 19th centuries, there was a popular superstition stating that it was bad luck to be born on Christmas Eve, because those born on this date were transformed into a monster called il-Gawgaw on their birthday, right after they fell asleep. Angry and deranged, they would walk the streets kidnapping children who had been naughty and disobedient. When they woke up in the morning however, they’d have transformed back from a monster into a human, without ever remembering what they had done, or where they’d put the naughty children.

  28. Hi everyone !
To begin, this video makes me want to go to Malta, especially now because it's freezing in Nice ! Malta seems very beautiful, personnaly I love beaches and the sea so I think I would enjoy the trip. It is also very colorful and attractive, I liked the part when the students visited caves, when they were on a boat. This makes me want to be on holidays, maybe I'll think about going there next summer.

First of all, this video really made me want to discover Malta because this place looks very welcoming and diverse. The places shown in this video are very well ahead. The landscapes are as beautiful as each other especially the blue lagoon because the water is really clear, I think it is one of the strong points of Malta.
I think making this video is a good idea to remember the good times of a trip.
I hope to soon discover this place.

First, this video makes me want to travel and more particularly to Malta because the landscapes are very beautiful and amazing. In fact, the turquoise blue sea makes dream and tempts to bathe. I never am to go to Malta but I would like very much going on a trip over there with my friends. This video reminds me many good memories and the countries where I went as Naples in Italy or Tangier in Morocco.

  31. Hello everyone !

Thank you Marie for this terrific video :)

Here is the poem I wrote about our trip:*

    MALTI TRIQ
    (Translation: Maltese streets)

Houses, colour, windows, colour, people, colour,
This is the Maltese streets at every hour.
The fresh wind lifting women’s dress,
The September’s heat on your face,
The sun shining from your feet to your hair,
The smell of summer floating in the air,
The streets getting narrow and narrower,
The buildings getting brighter and brighter.
Here you are, at the beach, watching the sea,
The lagoon blue waves are reaching your knee.
You jump on a boat, a smile on your lips,
Your eyes reflecting the sails of the ships.
Like a child, you play with the dancing water,
You raise your eyes it only gets better:
You see the streets you were an hour ago,
The limestone walls are slowly watching you go.
On your way back, the sunset on the quay,
The day is now over but still you can see,
Houses, colour, windows, colour, people, colour,
This is the Maltese streets at every hour.

Firstly, I couldn't go to Malta this year, and I was very disappointed. Indeed, this country seems to be wonderful, with amazing landscapes and beaches as we can see in the video. However, my classmates told me that Malta was in fact a poor country without good water or wifi for exemple.

First of all, I love travelling and exploring new places as well as new cultures and different kinds of life. I think that's the richer experience you could have. The video makes me want to go to Malta. The landscapes are simply breathtaking, with the colorful and atipycal streets of the different towns; Marsaxlokk and La mdina. The boat trip on blue lagoon looks also amazing with the crystal blue water. Finally, I fully agree with Marie when she says that we have to keep memories not by simply remember them but also by filming and photographing them. You have accomplished a great job by making this little movie and sharing your experience with us.
