I am so happy to discover the school in which we are going to study during our trip to Sweden. Indeed, it seems to be a really nice establishment to work in and I was so excited to learn that you have a HOME ECONOMICS ROOM where you have cooking lessons. Yes, I am found of pastry and cook in general and I would like so much to discover some Swedish dishes. Besides, I also really like the library, it seems to be a very nice and calm place to study. Indeed, it looks very comfortable and spacious. In addition, in my opinion, your gym is very big and awesome, so it might be pleasant to have PE classes in there. However, I patched up in your text that you do some orientation in physical education. So, according to me, I think that it is quite a good idea to practice this sport at school alone, or by teams. Last but not least, I am quite surprised to see those incredible computers you all have for three years. As for me, it might be sympathetic to work on, to do some school projects and researches. So, to put it all in a nutshell, I am looking forward to travel to Sweden !!!
I am very surprised to see that school un Sweden is very similar to Scholl un France, except that your school seems tu be surronded by nature and you have a lot of sport facilities ! And like Claire said, it is astonishing to learn that you have kind of cooking lessons, it is very useful and it would be great to have these lessons to because I absolutely don't know how to cook. Moreover I think it is prettt amazing that you have the ability to borrow a computer for free during your schoolar, every students in France would dream to have a Mac Book offered by their high school and it would be just brilliant to have the same thing here. Thank you for sharing these pictures ans interesting informations about your school with us !
Hello ! First of all, I want to thank you to have shared a little of your culture with us ! In fact, it seems to be quite the same as us, but in the swedish way ! Indeed, I would like having cook lessons because I'm fond of cooking. Consequently, I magine it would be nice to learn this subject in good conditions, like we do with others subjets in school. On top that, I think that it is really important to have a good diet. Actually, I don't eat in the school's dining room but I did and I know it is a little different. The main difference is that we have to pay our meals before we eat. However, we haven't got the necessary to eat here everyday, even if we have to say it in the quarter start. We have also a librairy, called "CDI" in our school which is organised in quite the same way as your librairy. It is a very nice place to read, work or just when you want to be quiet or alone. Concerning PE, we have 2 hours, once a week. We practice differents sports, according to the quarter either inside or outside. I would love practice orientation because I don't have it at all ! The last, but not the least, is concerning your computer. Unfortunately, we can't have one during our school years. Besides, we can't take our lessons on a ,computer even if I guess it is more attractive ! To conclude, your school seems to have a lot of advantages and, of course, it is always nice to discover others way of life !
Hello ! Your school looks really similar to the ones in France, except in our school we don't have a soccer field (but we do have a gym which is definetely too small) and it isn't surrounded by forests. As the girls above said, we never have cooking lessons. And we are forced to change classrooms at every hour almost, because the teachers don't move (but most of them don't have an assigned classroom either) so you can sometimes get lost (it happens). Most teachers don't assign seats, and if they do, it's only if you chat too much. And they never take our phones unless we use it in class. The school lends us school books at the beginning of each year and we have to return them at the end. And of course, we have to pay if we lose them. In our library (or CDI, which I think stands for Centre de Documentation et d'Information), there are also computers available aside from books. On the breaks, most students stay in the schoolyard and the others go outside for a bit. We don't have time to do anything because almost all the teachers are very strict with being on time and everything. This year in PE, we practiced athletics at a stadium outside our school, gymnastics, ping-pong, acrogym (which is basically the same thing as gym but with people lifting other people) and volleyball. And finally, computers. There is absolutely no way they would lend us Macbook Airs, because they don't trust us and that's quite understandable. So we just use pens and copybooks. We're very old-fashioned like that. Anyway, thanks for the photos and the explanations, it's very nice of you !
First of all, I want to say that your school seems wonderful. Your home economics room is well organised, but personally, I think having cooking lessons is useless. That would be fun, certainly, but I think that it's a subject which I wouldn't like. In your school, rules are quite the same that in France as regards the delays and the chewing gums. All your school seems very modern, everything seems recent ( the library, the dining room ). You also have many sports facilities which seem great. I was really surprised to discover that your school lends a Mac Book Air to all the pupils the time of their schooling. It's good, it allows everybody to be able to have the same means.
Thanks for the nice pictures. First I would love to have a home economics room because I already cook video recipes with some friends. Concerning the dining room, in our high school we have a canteen and a cafeteria. The difference is that you can eat at the canteen if you have subscribed to it and they only cook lunchs (the best lunchs are on Monday ;) ). But for the cafeteria, you need to have money on a credit card (only useable in the cafeteria) given by the high school. There you can buy and eat lunchs (sandwiches) or pastries when you want. Since there is a babyfoot in the cafeteria the atmosphere in it is great. Our high school is located in the center of Nice therefore we don’t have much space in it for sports facilities so we can only play volleyball, gymnastic and table tennis but not far away we have an athletic stadium. However it has lots of pros, it’s near cinemas and it’s not far from our biggest shopping street. Although having all the sport facilities in the high school and a forest nearby is very nice. It’s a good idea to take the pupils' phones before the classes so that pupils are not tempted by using them. Finally the computers are a good solution because on long days our backpacks can be heavy.
