Online Visual Arts

So, for the last couple subjects I have posted, my subjects were accompanied by images from deviantart, like this one : (link)

DA et many other websites, such as CGSociety for example, have great images, that are very different from traditional art.
What do you think of that ? (details inside)

  1. So, a few more precise questions that might be useful (just ideas, don't feel compelled to stick to them) :
    - Do you like this new kind of art ? Why / Why not ?
    - How do you imagine the evolution of visual arts in the future ? (you can explore other leads, such as tilt brush for example)
    - What would be, for you, an idealistic evolution of art ?

  2. Personally, I like this kind of art. Today, cartoons, for example, have really changed, the graphics are more realistic than before, which is better to watch. I also like manga. This kind of drawing evolved too, when looked old. However, what differentiates the other cartoons is obviously exaggerated for the forms.
Concerning the evolution of the visual arts in the future, I imagine that the drawings will be made éventuellement more realistic. With technology can be very close reproductions of reality, graphics level. I have some difficulty imagining that the visual art will become, how they evolve. We'll see in a few years.
For me, the ideal evolution of art is first of all that the cartoons are drawn even more realistic, as I said earlier. But also that art is more accessible. Nowadays, the fields of art are difficult to integrate. So, I would like that to change.

  3. As far as I am concerned , i would like to say that I don't especially like this kind of art .. It looks like some kind of manga and I don't like that at all . But I am fond of a special art which is : Brandalism . But what is this ? brandalism is Vandalism on brands which are promotring their products on billboards ! Nevertheless this art can be seen by everybody since it is exposed on the streets !

As for me there isn't an idealistic evolution of art since artists have the right to choose their way ! Also they can develop many kind of art and not only one ! Ideal is wrong ! But passion is right !

    1. I didn't know what Brandalism was, so upon reading your post I looked it up and ...
I find that amazing. That is extremely clever, daring, and very well made, all in all that's great.
I really want to thank you for making me discover that, since I've been trying when posting subjects on this blog to make people discover all sorts of things, and for the first time, I'm the one discovering something from the replies, and that makes me very happy. Kudos ! : )

(now, with that said, I recommend you give the websites I mentionned another look : while present on DA, manga-like art is not that frequent, and I think it is almost absent from CGSociety)

  4. HI EVERYONE!!
Personally, i’m not gonna say that i don’t like it because this is not my style but i like this kind of art i think that my brother will like very much because he’s drawing a lot of cartoon and a lot a thing. That reminds of a cartoon that my brother drew .
However i think this is a great image we can see on the foreground a wolf who is on the top of a number i don’t know if it mean something but i like this kind of illusion.
    Xx
