Hello everybody ! I hope you had a really good Christmas, and that you are enjoying your holidays. As for me, I don't celebrate Christmas in a religious way, but, during these holidays, it is a time for my family to be together. Eventhough I don't have a best memory of Christmas, I really enjoyed when I went to my grandmother's. She is the best cooker I know and as usual, she made a huge dinner ! It was a really good night because we laughed a lot and of course my sister, my cousins and me had our gifts : we were spoiled by so many surprises ! So, I am glad to spend all of those memories with my family.
Hi ! I remember that, when I was a child, we have to wait that all the family arrived, at noon, to open our presents, while we were woken since a very long moment, with my cousins. This wait was a real torture, for impatient children as us, especially as we could see our presents, count them, but not open them ! But then, all the family arrived, we could finally open all our presents, and we spent the best day of the year.
Hello! I spent wonderful Christmas as every year. Indeed, I live very far from all my family and it is one of rare moments when we have the opportunity to be together. I love this period of the year and it is often in Christmas that we remember ourselves many memories with people who count for us. I remember Christmas in particular which marked me. I was rather young and I spent the holidays at my grandparents. I went to lie down on the evening of the 24th and when I woke up, I not only perceived that the Santa Claus had passed but that it had snowed. It was the first time that I saw some snow and I was really impressed. After the opening of presents I spent the day to play in the garden with my cousin. It is doubtless the best memory which I have because it is one of rare times when I did not quarrel with her..
Hello everyone. I always have so much fun on Christmas because I can get to see my cousins. Even if they are youngers, we spend hours playing together. Unfortunately, the last time it snowed for Christmas in Savoie was, I think, about 3 years ago. My best memories are all these afternoon we spent building walls made of snow, only to destroy them while we were making snowball battles. We also used to make snowmen. I also cherished those time where we came home and had a hot chocolate together, the smallest truce ever!
On the evening of December 24, when I was little, my brother and I loved watching the cartoons that night, it was really nice. My grandmother was (and still is) having a good meal, and it's really one of my favorite times, because besides the good meal, we exchanged and talked about various things and it was always nice. I also remember that my brother and I were in hurry to open the presents! The next day, December 25, was just as well, seeing all the members of my family, my cousins, my aunt...Again, my brother and I could not wait to open the presents, I remember, it was like a kind of suffering not to open them immediately after the meal. Now that we are older, it is easier to wait. I also remember that my cousin brought his dog, and that my brother and I enjoyed having fun with him, it was really good. The fact of being all together for Christmas is already something good, and that's what I like Christmas. Being all together and sharing this wonderful time together.
My mom told me a week ago a story of a wonderful christmas we had. In 2005, we enjoyed Christmas to my aunt house next to Chalon-sur-soane. She offered me a large map of the world containing toys of every country in the world. I cannot remember a lot because of my age but she explained me that I said her : "this is the best day of my life" and then she cried. However, I remembered that it snowed on the christmas day. This was a cordial Christmas moment of my life.
My best memories of Christmas are always the ones I have from my childhood, when I still believed in Santa. I think all children should have the Chance to believe in it because it is a wonderful legend that makes Christmas a unique and magic moment. I remember my parents telling me to look at the sky and to try to find his sledge while they were secretly putting the presents under the Christmas tree. I really hoped every year that I would see him! One year, my father knew we had doubts about Santa Claus' realness, so he dressed up as him and when my mother took us out we saw him running in the garden. We really thought it was Santa and we were really impressed! But years later I remembered he was wearing gardening boots this night because he couldn't find the same boots as Santa and that made me laugh a lot. These memories are extremely precious and are the ones we never forget. Christmas remains the most magic and mysterious moment of the year.
Hello! I remember, that when I was a child, I used to spend Christmas with my cousin near to Nice. We were always 15 or 14 around the table and there were a lot of liveliness. Before the dinner we went to the garden because our parents said go to the garden Santa Claus will bring the presents and it has snowed. We made a snowball battle together. We came back home because we were cold and when we arrived in front of the fireplace there were all presents. It was the best Christmas of my life.
My best christmas memory was eight years ago, on 24th December 2008. It was the last christmas we spent with my grandmother before she died. We were in my uncle's house, all my family from my mother's side was there. There were my two uncles, with their wifes and children, my mother's best friend with his wife and children and my parents with my sister and I and of course, my grandmother. We had a good meal and we played a lot of games. I remember my grandmother's jokes who made everyone laughed, and I also remember her laugh. I remember her giving us candies and telling us to not tell it to my parents, I also remember her hugs, and her arms where I could spend my whole days. At midnight, we exanged gifts, I had a lot of presents but there is one I remeber very much, it was an alarm clock red that was singing very loud and breaking everyone's hear exept mine. Then, my cousin (who is the same age than me) and I, went into his bedroom and played with all our new toys, we sang and danced while adults and my sisters were talking in the living room and the other children were asleep. I remember this christmas as if it was yesturday. It was the best christmas is ever had.
Hi everyone ! I hope you all loved Christmas time and you received beautiful gifts . My best memories were when I was younger , i used to celebrate Christmas with my sisters , my grandparents, my cousins and it was very nice . However , now I celebrate Christmas with one of my sisters and my parents that's all because of some problems . I remember Christmas Eve when I was a little girl , amazed by the big Christmas tree , the gifts under it , and the big table decorated with some " snow " and Santa Claus . And what about you ? What's your favorite memory of Christmas ? Lena Szepetowski , 1S4
Hello everyody ! My best Christmas was when I was a child, we celebrated Christmas with my family at my uncle's house. His house was very large, there was a large pool. My brother had thrown my second uncle in the pool while it was very cold,it was snowing! It was a very funny moment ... Not for my uncle of course! But I will remember it all my life!
Hi everybode, As far as I'm concerned, I remember that I especially enjoyed the christmas when my consins, brother, sister and I recieved a huge tramp. We were so delighted ! To my mind it was the best gift ever, even if to our intense unhappiness, it was raining cats and dogs, so we couldn't try it, we had to be patient for one week... Nowadays, I prefer to have jewels than toys even if once I have the present it isn't as exciting as trying the tramp. Emilie Dossios 1S4
Hi everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas ! For me, Christmas is a special day when you spend quality time with your family. I have many good memories about this holiday but some stand out more than others. For example on Christmas Eve, when I was small and still believed in Father Christmas, with my brother we would leave him a plate full of biscuits and a drink at the bottom of the chimney, in the morning the plate and glass would be empty. Obviously it was my parents who would eat the biscuits but I didn't know it at the time ! Another good memory was in 2008, it was my little brother's first Christmas, he was so excited to open all of his presents that it made everybody laugh and even more excited, it was a magical moment. All in all, I enjoy every Christmas and with each one, new memories are created.
Like every year Christmas is very important for my family, it is a good opportunities to spend time together, lought and eat a lot. As for me the best memories of Christmas was when I was 6 years old, I was in my house, waiting my family and all of a sudden a big Santa Claus knocked the door and gave lots of presents. Hi everyone, I hope your Christmas was all you waited for. As for me, I always spent quality times with my family and I think that is a real moment of sharing and love. Indeed, everyone gets himself to Christmas atmosphere and it seems to be at least for me a wonderful and magical world, that unfortunately lasts not enough. No Christmas have marked me more than another except the one that I spent under the Mauritius sunshine. It was a good experience but I didn't realize it was Christmas because first, I was far from my family and then, because the weather and the decoration were not the Christmas scene as I am used to wait for. Last but not least, I still look forward to the month of December although I no longer wait for Santa Claus as I eagerly used to do.
Hi ! I remember when I was eight , my brother had come to y my parents house.it was the first Christmas that I spent with him because he is older than me , acutally he is twenty nine so I never lived with him.So when I saw him , I jumped for joy because I love my bother !
Hi! Christmas is always a time of sharing and pleasure. We meet our familly, eat together, do presents... Like it's happens only once a year, it is a great moment you ever remember. My favorite memories are as my cousin and I orgenized shows for ower parents. It was most of the time carols of Christmas and dances which we had learnt. We wore costumes and it was always a very funny moment! Once we even reconstituted the cristmas crib! I had to play the rolle of Marry and we put my little sister in a laudry basket to do Jésus. The over one play the three Kings, the animals and some angels. The funniest it is that we sang the song of J.J Goldman: Elle a fait un bébé toute seule! I hope that everybody has also incredibles memories of these celebrations because when we feel not good they help us to be positive!
My best Christmas memory was when I was young, because we got a lot of gifts at the base of the Christmas tree. Christmas is always a time of gathering. You share beautifull things with the people you love. That is why I personally do not have a distinct good memory of Christmas because I think that every Christmas that I spend with my loved ones is a good memory! Of course I could talk about that time when it snowed just on christmas day wich made it even more magical but sincerely all Christmases that I can recall were very good memories.
Hi ! My greatest memory of Christmas is when I was only seven years old. We flew to Toulouse to celebrate Christmas with my granny. Something magic happened in the plane, my sister saw a bright red light in the sky and both of us thought it was Santa Claus. Our wonderment was at his height.
