I would like to say that I agree with Lea, social media has increased expression for teens because this platform, in a certain way, has taken a big part in today's world; Most people use it, post pictures of their everyday lives but also about what they think and whatever crosses their mind. However, this doesn't mean that they are listened to.
To sum up, i think that teens have way more freedom regarding their opinion, but they are still not completely taken seriously or even acknowledged.

In my opinion, youths definitely express themselves more today than in the past. First of all, this is the result of a different type of education where parents encourage children to express their point of view about various subjects and they take it into consideration. Then, children take entirely part in family’s decisions. In the past, decisions were made exclusively by the parents, even if they concerned the children who just had to bear with them ! Moreover, the development of social networks enabled youths to express themselves more easily. Indeed, young people keep posting pictures or comments on various social media all day long. In addition, it is easier for youths to express themselves because they use a lot of images and pictures rather than writing about their thoughts. Hello everyone ! This subject is very interesting because we are teenagers ! I think like everyone said that nowadays teenagers express more their feelings. They are open to the world and they are connected between us. In fact, they use social networks to share pictures or their feelings like on Twitter where they talk with other people to share their point of view about everything and anything. Furthermore, some students and teenagers express their opinions about politics with demonstrations. In example, in 2016, many students protested against El Khomri law (labour law) to show their disagreement. To sum up, youths express themselves more today than in the past.
To start with, I would like to say that the present generation is more powerful than before, in fact, the young generation didn't link through some war or any hard situations. Youths are possessing a high feeling of being surrounded by others. They are growing up together with the sensation they are fighting for the same cause with the same energy.
However, I think the previous generations were expressing themselves with the same attitude except they didn't use an identical means of communication anymore. Nowadays I mean with social media when you do something like a speech including an idea to show your anger or to denounce something you don't agree with the entire world will be informed of what you have done and that could influence the minds of the people.
To conclude, the new generation is more open-minded holds an advantage that she doesn't use healthiness all the time. That can change everything and increase the future.
