US President Donald Trump has attacked Democrats for rejecting his proposals to end the longest government shutdown in US history. The people who work for the government are not paid.
A shutdown in The USA is a period when the president doesn't agree with the Assembly. The Assembly refuse to vote the American budget. I think that Democrats are not responsible about the situation in The USA. Donald Trump has to change his proposals because The Democrats have the majority in the Assembly. Neverthelss, this situation shows that the American system is quite strange : because of the politicians don't agree about the American budget, 800 000 persons can't work and loose money every day. It show the unfairness in American society.
I think Donald trump is trying to turn the population's brain upside down because he knows that half of them are easy to control but he does it badly because everyone knows that he is the one who caused the shutdown because only the president can. Instead of accusing the democrats as he had already done when there were fires in national parks where he said that the democrats did not take care of the parks well enough, It should do better to take care of the quarter of public service employees it abandons, which forces some national parks to close because of labour and risks fires.
It is sad for the officials who are not paid. In France, they would be already on strike if something like that was happening. Donald Trump really wants his wall and get attached to his ideas and democrats are against that. They both are stubborn and we can ask ourselves how could they agree.
Hello, I'd to notice that in school people must be neutral. But if you ask me to explain my point of view I will. When Donald Trump was elected I did not know if it was a good or a bad event. But today, I can say one thing : it is an unpredictable man who have for me a bad international politic. I don't know whats the situation inside of The United States but apparently the situation there isn't better. I think that it is bad not to pay people for their work, because every job deserves a salary, it is the fundament of moderns societies. Ewan Lagain TS3
Hello everyone, I think that it is wrong that the people working for the government are not being paid, they need their salary as much as anyone else. Secondly Mr Trump can not accuse Democrats for rejecting his proposals to end the longest government shutdown in US history, because they are just doing what seems right to them by refusing his proposals, they are protecting their country. I personally don't think that Mr Trump is a good president because he neglects the well-being of his country, and seems to only think about himself. In my opinion he should never have been elected in the first place.
