n my opinion, there should never be insults in the game between France and Turkish. Some people took advantage of this event to express themselves but I don’t think it was the good time and the good place to do that. We shouldn’t all mix up and sportsmen who introduce politics in the field make a mistake. Amélie Asimus TS2
You can't mix sport and politics like that. Indeed, there are always disturbed people in all fields, including some Turks in this case. But despite that, I don't think it was something spontaneous, I think it was prepared. I even think that sportsmen have been under pressure that we can't imagine. This event may well have been an order of the Turkish authority, which is very likely, knowing the Turkish President Erdogan.
So no, I don't exclude the fact that some of them have supported their murderous army of their own free will, which is certainly and sadly the case, but we must not make generalizations because some of them have probably also been forced. Whatever, it's horrible to celebrate, during a football match, many people's death, even though their country is in war.
I think that one cannot really judge these sportsmen, as they live in a dictatorship and perhaps they were forced to show support for their country's army and had no choice - but I think it isn't the case for everyone of them. That being said, I think it is perfectly outrageous to mix politics (and in this case, war !) with sports, especially when you consider that the Turkish army is currently invading Kurdistan and murdering the hundreds of people, even in hospitals, and that the Turks know perfectly well that they have no right whatsoever to do that. On top of that, they show their support for their army in a French stadium, which seems to me a sign of provocation towards the French government, because France has denounced the war in Kurdistan. (The Kurdish people have been our greatest allies during the war against ISIS.) To conclude, this sign was completely inappropriate, and I hope the Turkish team will be punished for that.
Hello everyone, In my opinion, people should not bind their politic ideas and sports. Because football is a spare-time, it is made to spend a good time with players and not deliver our politic opinion. Indeed, sports bring populations together, regardless of relations between countries. Also, I don't think a football match is an auspicious occasion to support this kind of event, and even under government's pressure, sportmen should rather focus on the match and take this opportunity as a psychological escape and think about something else than the horrible situation in their country. Thank you for reading.
Hello, I think it is normal for a Turk to support the actions and choices of his country since we all have a form of patriotism in us. However, I do not think it is a good thing that public figures such as footballers give their opinions on subjects as sensitive as the war between Turks and Kurds. So they can think what they want as long as it does not hurt other people.
I think this military sign made during this match had nothing to do there, because it’s opposite to sportifmanship. The French minister claims a sanction for Turkish players which is totally lawful in front of such an unethical action. Moreover they celebrate the human death in front of fans who could be influenced by them. For me we can’t grant sport and politics.
Hello, I think it is normal to supporte the actions of our country because it is of part of us but i aslo think that this support from the Turkish sportsmen to their army had nothing to do in a sport event because the goal of sport is to reunite people and not create or accentuate the tensions between different countries. Instead of promoting the act of their army, the sportsmens should take their time to spread love and peace between the countries all over the world because sportsmens have alot of influence on people because they have alot of fans. I also think that they should have prepared some type of sanctions for people that promote murders in any type of way in the world of sport.

Sorry I made some mistakes :
Delete- an order from the Turkish authority
- which is certainly a sad case
- even though their country is at war

I made a mistake : I should have written "murdering hundreds of people"
