Hi everyone ! I want to tell you about the english teacher I had in secondary school. He was rather old, and very old-fashioned by the way he dressed. However, his methods were modern. We watched movies, and he taught us so much about England and the United States. He was so funny and managed to give us all motivation to get better. In my own opinion, he was the funniest person I knew, but even if we laughed a lot, the whole class gained such a good level! Nowadays, my little brother also learns in his class, and when he talks about it, I remember so much things that it feels like it was yesterday! I am so glad I could join the european class, because If I love english, it is thanks to my old english teacher !
Hi everyone! First of all, I have lots of favorite teachers and it's hard to choose between them however, I'll try to write about one of them. To begin, my favorite teacher is my maths teacher for several reasons, first I like the subject he's teaching, then he's very interesting when he speaks about Mathematics. Moreover, he's the best teacher I've ever had because of his determination to make his pupils understand and until they don't get the notion, he'll explain so that brave and magic for us. Besides, he's the funniest teacher I know. Nevertheless, sometimes he's Cartesian and that's weird. Although he can be strange, his teaching method is the best one, in fact, pupils are focused, and they learn everything with pleasure. To conclude, I'm aware it's the last year before going to college and I'll be sad to left high school. Furthermore, I won't bring my teachers with me, and I shall regret it earlier than I could imagine. Lena S TS2
- As for me, my favourite teacher that I had was in secondary school and she taught History. She was very nice, every day were exciting, she always encouraged us to do better. Indeed we saw that she loved her job, for instance one day she cried because the school cancelled a trip with the class, it was so moving. Moreover she was very patient and enthusiastic whenever we had questions in class, she encouraged and motivated the class. And few years later my little sister learned in her class and she was also her favourite teacher.
- However, I have another professor whom I particularly appreciate, this is my current English teacher. Indeed she devotes herself to organize trips, motivate everybody and I thank her for it.
- To conclude I'm lucky to have teachers like this because I know that unfortunately there are people who had bad experiences at school. ( 125 mots )
I'm going to tell you about my biology teacher. She was smiling at every lessons. She was funny but she didn't forget the first thing for which one we are at scholl:the work. Futhermore she didn't give us much homework, howerver tests were very difficults.Even so,if someone didn't do his homework, she was very strict. I think she loves pupils and she's passionated about his work. She was very ponctual, she never allowed pupils to enter in class if they're late. Although she was my favourite teacher i don't know his private life but i think she's a good person. It could be nice that all teachers seem to her.
My favourite teacher was my English teacher in Middle School. I stayed in her class for two years and she was amazing. She always brought us little sweets and was always smiling. She brought me joy four hours per week. I know that sometimes she was unfair towards certain students and that most of the time, she was nicer to me and my friends than to the rest of the class but I was so amazed by her that I didn't really cared. She made me love English more than I liked it before. When she was teaching you could see that she loved it. This woman tought me to love a language, a culture and a country. In fact, we went to England with her and it was amazing. I saw her a few month ago and I could not discribe the joy it brought me. (147 words)
Hi everyone, First of all, a good teacher is someone who is, above all, passionate by his or her job and with good teaching skills. As for me, I had a few very good teachers during my school years but my favorite was when I was in middle school. She was my french teacher and I really like that subject so that maybe explains why I liked her so much ! Although she was strict at first sight, she made us like her subject. Indeed, I remember that I was excited the days I had french classes. Then, she didn't give us a lot of homework ! Finally, she was always smiling and joking with us, it was more a enjoyment than an obligation to go in her classes and I would be happy to see her again ! However, I have now other teachers that I really appreciate like my biology teacher and my english teacher because they are involved in their job : for exemple they organize amazing trips for us. Hello everyone, As for me, I had a few very good teachers during my school years but my favorite was when I was in secondary school. He was my biology teacher and he was so cool. First of all, he was a very good teacher : his lessons were really interesting, he was funny in class and he made his lessons alive. Then, his exams were quite easy and he never gave us a lot of homework. Finally, I remembered that one time for carnival he disguised in Mario and his friend, an other teacher was disguised in Luigi, that was so funny. As Eve, I'm really happy that ours English and Biology teacher organize trips for us. (120 words) Jacques K. TS2
Hi everyone ! First of all, I think good teacher skills don’t only depend on his or her teaching methods but also on the relationships made with the pupils. As for me, one of my favourite teachers was my sports teacher I had during year 8 and year 9. P.E. is always a really fun subject but this teacher made it extra enjoyable. One would always be excited to have him. He was very laid-back, he joked a lot and teased you and often came to talk to you but he was strict when needed. Lastly, I was sad I didn’t have this teacher for my last year of secondary school but I still bump in to him now and then which is always great. All in all, this teacher who made his lessons fun and who genuinely cared about his pupils will always be one of my favourite teachers. Like Eve perfectly said, I would also had my current English and biology teacher to my favourite teacher list since they have given us many opportunities to travel to wonderful places and discover new lifestyles! Hi everybody, To start with, my favourite teacher was my maths teacher I had in secondary school. As for me, he was an excellent teacher because he was really involved in his job : he would always start by explaining the lesson and he would make sure that every pupil understood. If not, he would explain and explain again. Then, we had plenty of exercises to apply the lesson we have just learned. Consequently, it was very clear and everybody seemed to be good at maths. Futhermore, this teacher had a great sense of humour and he would always make fun of every situation, we were learning in a good mood, I was just delighted to attend these maths lessons. In addition, bedore a test, he would always give us chewing gum in order to reduce our stress. To conclude, I'm convinced that a good teacher makes every pupil likes his subject. Emilie D TS2
Hello ! When I was in first year of high school in Paris, I was lucky to have a great history teacher. Indeed, it is a former soldier who decided to become a professor. Thanks to his experience and his culture, his lessons were captivating. Of course, he was very authoritarian because of his past but all students have made efforts and at the end of the year, the level of the class was good.Pupils had a good relationship with him. Finally, I think it is very important to share your passion with students when you are teacher. Since the end of this year, I am interested in the news, the History of France, etc. 125 words Malo Mabin TS1
My favourite teacher is my English teacher in middle school. She wasn’t the kind of teacher loved by anyone, she was very strict. Indeed when student disturbed the class or didn’t do their homework even once she punished them. Yet I really enjoyed the two years that i spent with her, of course sometimes she was the tyrant that everybody described but if you were bossy serious and if you did what she asked even if you had huge difficulties, she showed herself more kind and friendly. However, the real reason why i remeber her is because she was a very good teacher, passionated by her job. She always made sure that every students understood in class and explained a notion as many as necessary if someone was lost. Her lessons was very organised and playful, she used to showed us littles movies, songs or paints to make them funnier, that’s the reason why we never get bored. Moreover she gived us precious advices to help us with revisions, which really helped me in my school life and that i still use, not only in english but also in others subjects like history, mathematics, or french when i have important exams.
Hi everyone ! To begin with I would say that as students we don't have to like or not like a teacher, they only are here to transmit their knowledge and we should respect them and not judge them. But i do have to admit that throughout the years I did have some preferences between them. I thik my favorite one is the English teacher I had in secondary school. She's the one who gave me the love that I have for this language and encouraged me to attend the european class. Clémence C. TES2
Hello ! My favourite teacher was not really young but she was really nice... I was about ten years old so the marks were not really important so almost nobody was working and if someone was working, it was not really hard. But this teacher wanted the best for her students. That's why she decided to reward the students who had good grades by giving them candies. Maybe about six years later, I met her again in the street. She was with her grandson ( a very little boy who was maybe one or two years old ) and actually she remembered my name. I was really happy that I stayed in her mind. We talked a lot about me and she told me that I had changed a lot. After that, I never saw her again, but I will always remember myself of this teacher. ( 142 words ) Evesque Nicolas T°S1

Hello everybody ! My favourite teacher was my mathematics teacher and she was my teacher when I was just 13 years old. First of all, when I met her for the first time, I found her very strict and she never smiled. her tests were very difficult and I had to work hard. Now, I know her and I know that she is a very good teacher who wants the best for her students. I better understand why she gave difficult tests: It was to make us progress a lot. Thanks to her, I really progress and now I have less difficulties in maths. I have good results in maths because I have learned that I have to work a lot to succeed my life and have a good job when I will be an adult. (136 words) Sarah H
Hi everyone, First of all, I would like to say that I strongly agree with Eve when she stated that what made a teacher interesting is his/her passion for the subject he/she teaches.
As for me, I have been affected by my historical teacher in Secondary School. To my mind, she had EVERY qualities required to be a brilliant teacher. From her 55 years old, she was energetic and kept smiling all the time. She actually had a great humor, which made her lessons full of life. Therefore, no one got annoyed in the lesson time as she caught our attention the whole 55 minutes. You must doubt consequently that she didn't need to be strict since every pupil were very silent and respectful. For the little story, I am still in touch with her and I often visit her. I must say that she is this kind of person who leaves a huge mark on you. Last but not least, she encourages me to realize my ambitions and I will always be grateful to her.
First of all, my favorite teacher was my professor of history and geography in middle school. He was an excellent teacher because he really loved his job. He encouraged us on reading the newspapers and we have to remain informed about the world via currents events. He helped us to understand how these events connected into history, culture, and government. His lessons were interesting no matter was the subject. However he was tolerant, kind and very patient with his pupils. He was also a little bit rude. He answered at the questions who asked the pupils whenever, and he explained us in detail the answer no matter the time that it took. Finally, I thought I love learning history and geography since this teacher because he was always here for us, and he was absolutely involved in his job.
First of all, I think that a good teacher is someone who is involved in his work. That's what makes the difference between a good one and a bad one. When a teacher likes her job very much, he or she will get better anyway because it means that the teacher wants the students to make progress and improve themselves. That's my definition of a good teacher. In my case I had a very involved english teacher a few years ago and that's what gave me the wish to continue working on it. She made us improve our oral expression because she said that a language had to be spoken. We talked a lot with her during her lessons and that is quite rare for a language teacher because they often do not insist enough on our expression. In fact that is what makes us make much more progress in german in the abibac section: the german teacher talks a lot with us about books we had to read or text we had to analyze. To resume the most important quality for a teacher is the involvement in the work because it is the key to give motivation to students.
My all-time favorite teacher was my middle school German teacher. She is an elderly woman with great spirit and sense of humor, and although she is not the youngest she never failed to bring great energy to the classroom. She didn’t see her students as simple grades or report cards but rather as the individual persons they were, each with their own personality and difficulties, but most of all strength and potential. She is the one who encouraged me to apply for the AbiBac program I am doing now, and I’ll forever be grateful for that. One of my favorite quotes is one Benjamin Franklin said: “Tell me and I forget, show me and I might remember, involve me and I learn”, and it is one of the most important things I know. This teacher was the perfect example of education through encouragement and hands-on experience. She helped us carry out projects and helped many kids develop great self-confidence. I still keep in touch with her and regularly see her, and she’ll always be someone I admire.
Hi everyone, I wanted to talk about my favorite teacher that i had in middle school. He was my maths teacher so he had to be tough but good learner. We always enjoyed his classes because he was always smiling and joking. We could see that he was very involved in his job and that he cared about his students. Sometimes he could get angry when some pupils didn't do their homework but it was for the best. Besides he gave us great methods and since that time i love mathematics.
I think a good teacher has to encourage you during your schooling and has to be motivated. And of course he also need to be hard and teach you discipline. Well i think that's it !
Hi everyone! First of all, I would like to introduce myself since I never posted on this blog. My name is Laure Michel and I’m in TS 1. So let’s tell you about my favorite teacher! He was my mathematics teacher when I was in my first year of high school. Since I love math, I found out to be very important to have a good mathematics professor, and lucky me, he was! He taught us math like a game, everything seemed simpler when he explained to us how to resolve an equation or how to write an algorithm. He was very funny and always found example to put things on his words. That’s probably because of him that I chose to be in a scientific class. I would have loved to have him in my next years of high school but unfortunately, he left the lycée Calmette to be in another school… Maybe I’ll see him one day to thank him!
My favourite teacher was my History teacher during my last two years of secondary school.
First of all, my classmates and I were a little afraid of him at first because he was very impressive and strict. That's why even the unruly pupils had a good behaviour. Furthermore, he was very tall and he had a very strange style : he was always wearing black clothes.
In spite of what we thought, he made many jokes and we laughed a lot. On top of it, he was such a good teacher : his lessons were very well organized and clear. He made them alive and interesting with anecdotes . He was very attentive to every pupil. He taught us a very good working method. I learnt a lot with him. (127)
Hi everyone, First of all, I strongly agree with Emilie when she said that a good teacher makes all the students like his subject.
As for me, my favorite teacher was my latin teacher in middle school, I stayed in her class for two years and I learned so many things. However, Latin was not my favorite subject but it was really interesting with this teacher. To my mind, she is a brillant teacher, I admire her and she always helped us to do the best. To finish, I saw her a few months ago and I was really happy and we talked a lot about my ambitions. Alyson Bernardini TES2
My favorite teacher was my history teacher in the middle school. The first time we saw him we expected to spend a terrible year, he was antiphatic. But the more he spoke with us over our changed point of view, in reality he was doing everything to make a better job he would encourage us for the future years. He had a good working method which he transmitted to us. I liked him because indeed if he was very serious and demanded in the work we were doing in class he knew how to laugh with us and talk about important things. These courses were very interesting in explaining to us in great detail and were listening if we did not understand a subject. At the end of the year we were all sad because he left the establishment but to celebrate this we made a last taste of end of year.
Hello everyone, I think when we are at school, we aren't here to love or hate the professor who teaches us,but we are here to work and succeed our year. However, I would like to share with you my past year with my favourite teachers. One of them was an english teacher, she was so sweet, the kind of person who give you the pleasure to learn, but strict when it was necesary. Sadly she met a lot of personal issues but kept the smile all the time. Each other was a mathematics professor, he was so funny, he was laughing so much with us, and taking the time to explain the lessons when we didn't understand. That why I really appreciate this professor. To my mind, thoses professors are brillants and they are respectable. 136 words. Marcia 1ES1
Hi everyone, First of all I would like to talk about my favorite teacher which was my English teacher from last year unfortunately she was just a replacement teacher but I learned a lot of things with her. She was from Ireland and the way she talked about this country was so much interesting she was always smiling and laughing with her students I felt like we were treated like her children and I found that i was cute we learned lots of English poetries and now I know that they are really difficult to learn. That is why I was loving English subject. I was always happy to go in the class because I love the way she was teaching and how people were always participating and invested. I always had good Marks and she always encouraged us to reach our goals and not to be afraid to try even if we fail. Jacinth 1ES1
Hello everyone, My favorite teacher was a french teacher during my last year of middle school. She was very strict but also very funny with her students and thanks to her, i learnt many things about the french and foreign litterature, and i think that now i like litterature a little bit thanks to her. Unfortunately, during my year, she was forced to leave my school because she was pregnant. But, the year later i add her on facebook, and now she's mother of twins and i often talk to her. She is very intrested about me, and it's always a pleasure to talk to her. I regret that I had not her as a teacher during last year for the baccalaureat, but life is life !
My favourite teacher was my last year maths teacher. A good teacher, indeed, has to be passioned by his job, and that was the case, he had the possibility to enter many more lucrative jobs but he he chose the one he was foud of, and I admire him for that. Furthermore he is the first teacher who gave me the desire to work that hard. Thanks to his help, I learned works methods. But he was also the coolest teacher I’ve had, he knew when it was time to work but also when it was time for fun. Let me just give you an example, at Christmas, last year , after two long working hours, he put on some music, and we danced with him , in class. That was unexpected, but really cool. He was also open-minded and tried to teach us more than maths, some values of respect and tolerance and that’s what I expect from a really good teacher. Finally he managed to have personal relationship with every single of us, but showed no personal preference, and that’s in my opinion the hardest for a teacher. Poincignon Octave TS2 145 words.
Hey everyone! I wanted to tell why I loved my past physic teacher. She is young, dynamic and really cared her students. I have always loved sciences but thanks to her I discovered what I particularly enjoy doing : astronomy! We have always been rather close because she always knew that I truly was interested in what she explained us. I became more and more involved until I really know what I wanted to do later. She had a way of teaching that perfectly suited my want to learn more and more. That is why I remember her and I always will. I hope that in a few years, if I bump into her, she will recognize me because I am sure pretty sure that I will ! Lescure Mathilde TS1 125 words
Hello everybody, My favorite teacher was certainly my mathematics teacher in the 2nd class. She was really good (and surely still is) in explaining mathematics complex systems and made me better than ever in math. I liked her because she was also fun, she laughed sometimes but stayed serious when she had to be. She listened each pupil and did her best to help him. However, the last year I had a really bad teacher in math and I lost all of what I learned the year before...
My favorite teacher was probably my English teacher in my first year in middle school. She was strict but also very funny. She did the best she could for us and I learned a lot ! She taught us very interesting things. She was always happy and smiling, that's why I loved going to english lessons. Unfortunately, the next year, I had a bad english teacher and I didn't learn anything. However, my english teacher during the last two years in middle school was also an excellent teacher !
Hello everybody, I will tell you about my favourite teacher. He was a professor of mathematics. I got it when I was in fourth class. Thanks to him I started to love mathematics whereas before I hated it. He was kind and understanding. Moreover he helped us a lot and motivited us. He loved his work and his students. Besides he is patient and enthusiastic. Everybody liked him. He had humor and made us laugh. We were happy to go in his class. To my mind it is a very good teacher and I'm very glad to have know him as teacher.
Hi everyone, We have to talk about our favorite teacher. But I can't talk about "a favorite teacher" but it is much more than that. Although all of my teachers are fairly good and respectable for me. But the teacher whom i loved and admired most of all is a person who love what she/he does. I learnt many things during these years now. I have travelled several times, I discovered different countries and cultures. It was very interesting. In addition it is an excellent teacher, she's strict, funny, she sings very well ! I want to render proud this person, she's like a member of my family.
Hi everyone ! Personally, my favorite teacher was my English teacher in middle school. First of all, she was a very good teacher thanks to the way she made us work : we always did some interviews or quizz that we had to creat or some presentations and sometimes an assistant came to play games in English with us. So I was very happy to go to English class because of the way she was teaching us. English became one of my favorite subject. But she was also a very good teacher thanks to her personality : she was very kind and very affective. To conclude I had very good teachers and she's not the only one but now I have the chance to have good teachers again. (132 words)
Hi everyone, I had a lot of good teachers, but my favourite is the physic and chemistry teacher I had when I was in my third year of middle school. It was really fun to learn this subject with him, because he always found something to make it easy to learn. A good example is when we learned about the intensity of the electricity : He showed us a passage of the film "Back to the future" and made us do a whole exercise on this extract of the film. We had this teacher in Technology class too, and I really liked learning with him. Later in the year, we saw his face in a music clip, and we found out that he was in a music band. He never actually said it was truely him in this clip, but I found the music really funny and good, and I still listen to it sometimes. (153 words)

I had a lot of very good teachers in my student life but the best one was perhaps my mathematic teacher in the college. I had 3 times this teacher in my 4 years in my college ! I was very lucky. First, this teacher was very captivating with us. In additon, he was very kind, he never wanted to punish or annoy us if the reason was not very strong, all the time he thought to be right and understanding. Then, he transmit to me a certain attraction to mathematic and may be he was a person who encourage me to go to my section now ! He was passionate by his job and he was never angry during a class. This classes were pleasant and we didn't be sad when we went to math ! In conclusion, I think that this teacher symbolize to my mind the perfect way to be a good teacher and, a teacher appreciated by his students. I hope that I remember him for a long time !
Hello everyone! Let me tell you who was my favorite teacher. First of all I was in middle school, and my teacher of arts was very comprehensive and nice with my class. I didn't like arts a lot because I never understood anything and I thought it was useless as school subject.Especially that I don't know how to draw. However my teacher had very simple subjects for us and she makes me love arts ! She learnt us how to read paintings, we aslo could talk about arts paintings during the history. Hello everyone ! I will talk about my favourite teacher who was my Spanish teacher when I was in 4eme. First of all, she was very happy all the time and she made her language really interesting. Furthermore, we went to Barcelona in a school and it was unforgettable. I keep good memories about it ! When I was in nursery school, I met my favorite teacher ever. I was two years old and it was my first year of school. She was called Emmanuelle, and she was very involved in her job. I was the youngest in my classroom and Emmanuelle was really paying attention to me. Despite my young age, she pushed me to upgrade my level with a personalized program. She has followed me for two years long and I got the possibility to skip a class. The last year with her, she made up a story about a lost teddy bear who was an orphan. All the pupils had to find him in the schoolyard and every child could adopt him for one week. This teddy bear is called Mimi and when it was my turn to adopt him, it was an extraordinary relationship that began between Mimi and I. This friendship was so strong that I couldn't give him back. It was the end of the year and Emmanuelle offered to me Mimi in secret. I moved on and I can't see Emmanuelle anymore but she's still in my heart and Mimi is always next to me. Hello everyone, I don't favourite professors but I shall like speaking to you about a professor that I had during my year of second, which marked a lot me. Indeed, it was my mathematics teacher, a generous, joyful person, and strict. He(it) supported a lot me when I had difficulty in mathematics. Even if I had no famous notes(marks) in mathematics, he(it) repeated me that I was going to arrive there and that I should not give up(lower the arms) come what may. He allowed me to motivate me and not to surpass myself. I am really grateful for all that he taught me.
I will never forget my History teacher when I was in secondary school. To be honest, when I was younger I did no really like History. This teacher was amazing ! He managed to motivate us because his courses were very lively ! He had a gift for putting us in confidence ! Moreover, he provided some tips and methods which are still very useful for me now even for other courses like French or Economy ! I often go in my previous school in order to meet him and get his advise. Indeed, on top of his courses at school, he is preparing students graduated from High school to go to Commercial Schools or Institute of Political science.
To start with, I remember that when I was in 5ème, my English teacher had almost the same last name than me. She's last name was Bouazzi and she was so nice and beautiful! English is my favorite subject at school, mainly when I was in middle school and this teacher made me fall in love with this subject a lot again. Thanks to her, my love of studying English improved and, I had many good grades, especially in a big English test organised by my middle school (which I had 19.5/20). So, my friends told me that I'm the daughter or the little sister of our English teacher. Funny, right? Then, the teacher agrees with a big smile and said "yes, we are in the same family", and I laught. All that, thanks to my level in english. It's an amazing memorie whcih I'll never forget.
I remember, it was an Italian teacher in my secondary school. He looked like Jack Sparrow and being a big pirate fan, I was quickly seduced. He had an original style that he completely assumed, with his slightly unbuttoned silk shirts, his ponytail, his big earrings, his silver rings and his little moustache. He had a lovely accent and was always very cheerful. I was in awe every time I passed him in the corridors. During the Brevet in 3e, he was my jury for my oral and it was incredible, he was very impressed and I got 100/100. Afterwards, on my last day, I went to tell him that I had admired him since the 6e and he thanked me in a very cute way and told me that I reminded him of him when he was my age, with the same determination and passion in his eyes. It made me very happy and he said "Ciao! "with his lovely accent :)

DeleteHi everyone !
ReplyDeleteI want to tell you about the english teacher I had in secondary school.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I have lots of favorite teachers and it's hard to choose between them however, I'll try to write about one of them.

ReplyDelete- As for me, my favourite teacher that I had was in secondary school and she taught History.

(147 words)

Hi everyone,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, a good teacher is someone who is, above all, passionate by his or her job and with good teaching skills.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I think good teacher skills don’t only depend on his or her teaching methods but also on the relationships made with the pupils.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in first year of high school in Paris, I was lucky to have a great history teacher.

But i do have to admit that throughout the years I did have some preferences between them. I thik my favorite one is the English teacher I had in secondary school. She's the one who gave me the love that I have for this language and encouraged me to attend the european class.

Now, I know her and I know that she is a very good teacher who wants the best for her students. I better understand why she gave difficult tests: It was to make us progress a lot. Hi everyone,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I would like to say that I strongly agree with Eve when she stated that what made a teacher interesting is his/her passion for the subject he/she teaches.

Hey everyone!
ReplyDeleteMy all-time favorite teacher was my middle school German teacher.

My favourite teacher was my last year maths teacher. A good teacher, indeed, has to be passioned by his job, and that was the case, he had the possibility to enter many more lucrative jobs but he he chose the one he was foud of, and I admire him for that.
ReplyDeleteFurthermore he is the first teacher who gave me the desire to work that hard.
