ReplyDeleteTo begin with , I'm very worried about what Trump is planning to do . Moreover , I think that he wasn't kidding when he talked about the " global warming invented by the Chinese " . In fact he wants to cancel the Cop21 agreement ( even if it was voted by the USA ) and it's , as for me , one of the worst ideas he has ever had . It would be a more polluted planet because the United States has a big power as the first economic power in the world . Our air won't be pure , we will continue to pollute earth and so on . Moreover , it is important to say that Trump should have seen how the world is polluted and it's very shocking to think that this man who doesn't care about the main issue ,the environment , is the new president of the United States of America .
To sum up , I don't like Trump's ideas , his conception of the world and I guess he will be horrible for the environment .

ReplyDeleteIn response to a question about his views on climate change, Trump implied that the US shouldn't waste "financial resources" on climate change and should instead use them to ensure the world has clean water, eliminate diseases like malaria, increase food production, or develop alternative energy sources.
Personnaly I think that climate change is very important for us and our future lives on Earth. We can't ignore this problem.
"There is still much that needs to be investigated in the field of 'climate change,'" he said. "We must decide on how best to proceed so that we can make lives better, safer and more prosperous."
Trump says clean water may be the "most important issue we face as a nation for the next generation," and it will be a "top priority" for his administration.
But the United States needs major renovations in infrastructure, whether it be roads, bridges or whatever. These renovations are expensive but they are necessary, they will create many jobs and an increase productivity. Unless the United States sticks to the agreements, they will not be able to use their energy resources and they will have to go and buy them in Saudi Arabia, for example. What is silly because you pay another state more expensive than you would pay yours: this is totally counter productive. In addition, the financing for energy you will pay, will fill the coffers of some people who have repeatedly, funded Daesh or other extremist group.
To finish, I think us's government has to find a compromise between ecology and economy.

ReplyDeleteI'm personnally really worried about the new president. Not only about his opinion oh global warming but also in pretty much every part of his speeches. I get worried when he says awfull things about women, about immigrants, or about what he will spend to rejuvenate the economy.
I don't think he is going to be a good president and the economy is going to get really bad if he spends to much because everyone who bought obligations will resell them and it would be the end of America's economy system.

I can't find any reasons of his positions, probably that he doesn't accept the truth because it is too much to handle for a small racist a mysogene brain, he wants to put the falt on the others in order to look less horrible for americans or to make people talk about him, because he is not a prsident, he is a clown.

Why doesn't he realize that we are in a period in which we should pollute less and protect our environment ?
Maybe he only thinks in developing the USA economy, that's quite logic because he is a businessman, but that's not fair ! If we want to keep our world healthy, that's not a manner of process !
Moreover, apart from this environmental point of view, Trump has political concepts based on racism and mysoginistic ideas.

Environment is the stake of the 21st century, that everyone in the world should have to worry, ESPECIALLY the president of the most powerful country in the world! If one inhabitant don't care about it, we will not complain, but if Trump does not care this is a problem. This is an appointment because it means that he will increase American production, as underline his slogan "America first" and so continue the global warming, which has reached alarming proportions. Last president Obama rated the paris climate agreement but Trump now wants to put an end to it. However this is understandable because it proposes to reduce co2 emission meaning a lower productivity of the country.

To begin with, I'm very worried about what the new president is planning to do. M.Trump said in his first presidential interview "America first" as I see it he wants to break the different bonds with the different countries and an isolationist United States. So for him the United States mustn't be open to the world, in a certain way the United States must be narrow-minded selfish. Secondly he appointed as new environment minister a man, who doesn't believe in global warming. With this element he breaks a worldwide agreement about global warming between a lot of countiries. In my opinion M. Trump shows his way of thinking to the world. In addition his words about the Europeen Union seem to be his own opinion about his international "friends" and since two days there are demonstrations against his election. Since the run to the White House, he makes a lot of interviews, in which he appears as a crazy man whit charisma. But on a other hand he was a very good chairman, he puts back on his feet four times and since his election the stock exchange get better.

- To my mind I don't think it is a good idea to forget environnement, especially for Usa because our air won't be pure, we will continue to pollute earth. I'm worried about Trump position because like Lena said I don't think he was joking about "Chinese created global warming". However we don't really know if he will stop the EPA or if it just a rumour.

In my own opinion Donald Trump refuses to accept the climate changes because he just don’t want to spend money to solve this problem.
ReplyDeleteClimate changes are often due to pollution from factories and others different types of industries, but to reduce the pollution you must to close some factories or install special filters that will filter the smog. All these two methods will cost a lot of money so the new president don’t want to spend them on such problem because I don’t think that man of seventy years old just don’t understand such a evident problem.
I think it is very sad that the new President of the United States does not believe in climate change, in spite of the numerous prooves on the subject!

Nevertheless Trump affirmed that it is only an invention. I think at first that Trump always used to say shocking and controversial things to attract attention. It is a man who often says false things for that the media remain on him. In my opinion Trump knows the reasons for global warming but he is looking for excuses to avoid having to do his duty. That means cooperating for the future of the planet.
We can conclude that individually it can be difficult to make efforts if leaders don't encourage citizens.

Barack Obama's decision would have help to protect the environment but would have damage the industries' yield. Trump was maybe scared of this, he wants his country to be competitive and effective. He may not be aware enough of the consequences on the environment. A lot of business men only care about their business and thinks about the climate warming as an abstract thing.
I see thing that way, Donald Trump doesn't care about relations with the other countries, he sees the communal contract with the other presidents as a harmful thing for the United States. I'm scared because the United States are one of the powerful countries in the world their president's decisions affect the entire world. Trump is not prepared to be president, he only thinks about results and not about consequences.
I think that this boy says a lot of nonsense, and unfortunately his first week as president demonstrates that he intends to apply them in reality ... he was elected regardless the environment, he is only concerned about the security and the economy! As for me he makes a big mistake because the United States is the country that emits the most emissions of greenhouse gases after China, the fight against pollution and global warming is a major objective of the 21st century. It would be necessary for all of America to adopt the functioning of the city of San Francisco: this city recycles more than 80% of its waste, thanks to a voluntarist policy.

As a matter of fact, in my opinion the USA do contribute massively to the carbon emissions in the world. So they should fight to reduce them. Moreover, it is crucial that the effort is conbined within all the polluant countries because it is everyone's responsability to find ways to reduce carbon emissions.
Therefore, according to me, Trump made a big mistake by withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement.
To conclude, I can't find any reasons of his position, maybe he doesn't want to accept the truth because he doesn't want to bother with it as it is very hard to handle.
