  1. To my mind, the identity is what defines a person. We can show our identity in different ways. For example, our believe, our creed, our behaviour or our physical characteristics. Consequently, each identity is unique.

  2. Hello,
I think the identity can be defined by characteristics of a person, like his personality.
We have all several identities. The most important is our "personal identity" : it's the knowledge of our continuity in time and in space. There are other identities which are related to our genre, culture, nationality, religion..
Also, the identity of a person can be influenced by her environment, her social contacts (with family, friends, meetings), her education..

  3. Hello,
Personally I think that an identity does not and can't define someone. Because an identity is like a status. We all have different status. But it's not define ourselves. Our thoughs, our acts, our dreams can define us but not the characteristics that we already have when we born. Through our lives, we grow and learn about our mistakes and failures. That's how we can understand and accept the person that we were, that we are, that we will be.
    Thank you!

  4. According to me, our identity is a part of our life. If we haven't identy we are nothing. Our identity represents us. Furthermore, thanks to our identity we can know a lot of things about our character, our way of being or even our way of reacting to certains situations. And outsiders can deduce who we are.

  5. In my opinion there are 3 meanings to the word "identity".
The first one is that identity is what makes it possible to differentiate, without possible confusion, a person, an animal or a thing from others.
The second is from the psychological point of view. In psychology, identity is the consciousness that one has of oneself, as well as through the recognition of others, of what one is, of one's self. It allows the individual to perceive what is unique, that is to say his individuality.
And the third sense is forensic identity is a service of the judicial police in charge of searching for and identifying the perpetrators of misdemeanors or crimes.
In conclusion it is difficult to define an identity, I think that our identity is built throughout our lives thanks to the experiences we live and the lessons we learn from them.

in my opinion identity defines a person, it defines what he is. identities make the differences between people. languages are part of our identity, our country of nationality is part of our identity, our culture and our religion too. all this defines a person and forms his difference

  7. I think I would define one's identity by describing his temper and the way he acts with people. Indeed those things give a lot of information about him, and I personnally think that you don't need to know one's name or age to know who he is, and simple things like the way he treats you will inform you of whether he is someone you will get along with or someone you will hate, and for me that's enough to define his identity. Of course everything could be fake, and you can be fooled, but someone who is not would see that person from another angle, and would have a bad opinion of him.

  8. To my mind, identity can identify someone by their past and their achievements during their life. Moreover, culture and belief or our physical appearance can also be a factor of our identity. Thanks to identity, we can say that every people are different.

  10. One's identity is about everything that makes someone who he is. That can be his personality, his cultural background, his appearance, his name, his actions, etc.. However while all of these are relevant, I think that the most important out of them all is one's personality. It defines how the person thinks, acts, and will tell you more about him than anything else. A personality is also something that is shaped by your environment, your past experiences, your social life. It is something that can change over time. Peoples' identities aren't meant to stay in one place, they are supposed to evolve and to be redefined as time goes on.

  11. The identity of a person is defined by administrative papers with information that describes us. Also, our cultures, our traditions, our values and our cultural heritages are part of the identity of a person that makes him unique.
