This is it, tomorrow is December! Time passes quickly! 25 days from today will be Christmas Day!
Christmas season is near, I have an idea that I would like to share concerning the subjects that I will post on the blog during the month of December.
- Would you like me to post subject-matter relevant to Christmas and the New Year?
- Or would you like me to continue posting random topics?
You choose. In any case, I think this could be an original idea, which could be different.
I think it would be great to create a new kind of posts on the blog, furthemore it is nice to talk about a festive time of the year. It is great to change the sort of subjects we often see, and to have a "theme" on the blog. I am for anyways!

ReplyDeleteTo my mind it's a good thing to be enthusiastic as we are at a short time of christmas. And I would be very happy to debate on that subject.
But these last years I saw to much advertisement about that. This disgusted me from a celebration I had like very much in my childhood. Now I feel as this period is a pretext of advertisement to encourage us to buy more and more things that we don't really want.
I think it would be interesting to post topic about Christmas and it may even encourage some students to post comments. However I like the subjects that you already suggested because they allow to think about different things and are really diversify so that's not repetitive. Christmas is a season which is different for many people so it may be great to know what the other think about it. To post topics about Christmas is a good idea but it shouldn't be only subjects about it because it may become boring at the end.

ReplyDeleteAs everyone said, I think that it could be interesting to talk about Christmas period. Moreover, there are many different aspects of the subject to broach.
When I was younger, I was fully fascinated with Christmas as every children I guess. I looked forward to Santa Claus and I had lot of fun decorating the Christmas tree. I still love that period but it is not as much enthralling as it used to be.
Regardless, I am eagerly awaiting the end of the month to share quality time with my family around a delicious meal, with laughter and presents !

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Emma...On one hand, I love the whole universe around Christmas,Winter and I think it speaks to a majority of people, it isn't too complex and it's rare to find someone who doesn't like Christmas!
But on the other hand I know people who don't celebrate Christmas, and posting topics only on Christmas could be annoying,the purpose of a forum is to be able to talk about everything!
Mixing these two good ideas would be the best thing to do!

ReplyDeletePersonally, the festive season is what I enjoy most about winter and it would be sad not to talk about it. I enjoy all the aspects of this time of year : the decorations, time spent with family, and last but not least the food ! I think it would be a great idea to post subjects about Christmas and the New Year as there is a lot to say.

I would find it really interessant if everybody could talk about this particular moment of the year! ReplyDeleteI personally really enjoy the holidays season and i would apreciate if we talked more about it at school.Maybe not just about christmas (or any other religious celebration) itself but just the fact that we have days off in a moment when the weather gets quit cold and snowy out.
From where I lived before Nice it always was relaly cold in winter and most of the time we had snow on christmas day. Let me tell you it was awesome !
I always have great memories of the holidays I had with my family and having a lot of fun around great christmas food.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all , I share everybody's point of view , so I would like you to post subjects concerning Christmas . Indeed , we always talk about actuality here , therefore it would be interesting to talk about others things . Moreover , I love Christmas' period , everyone is happy and is waiting Christmas Day with the advent calendar .
However , my family doesn't like Christmas because my Grandfather died on December the 25th . I enjoy decorating the Christmas tree ( even at sixteen years old ) but this period is a little bit dark so I'm not going to have a " marvelous Christmas " as everyone , unfortunately.
To finish , December is a beautiful month ( I prefer winter than summer ) and I guess we are all waiting for Christmas'Eve !
